Kurt Hoffmann is a managing member of HC Real Estate Capital. Prior to forming HC Real Estate Capital with Partner, Chris Caveglia, Kurt was a principal in Tavernier Capital Partners which was formerly known as GMAC and Capmark Finance in Florida. Prior to that he was Senior Managing Director of the HFF Boca Raton, Florida office where he worked for over 15 years. Kurt specializes in the financing of retail, office, industrial and multi-family properties. He has originated and placed over $2 Billion of Commercial Real Estate during his career. He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is also a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker and Mortgage Broker. Kurt graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa with BA in Finance.
Chris Caveglia founded HC Real Estate Capital in 2012 with partner, Kurt Hoffmann on the principals of financial integrity and the highest degree of quality service to his clients. Chris has been involved in more than $2.5 Billion in Commerical Real Estate financings. During this time he earned the trust and respect of Owners/Developers that the firm represents as well as top exectitves of the major capital providers to the industry. Chris has a vast understading of the lending industry and he has nurtured creative solutions for consummating loan transactions. His well respected reputation in the industry, capital markets expertise, and transactional experience has elevated him to one of the most active commerical loan originators in South Florida.
Before forming HC Real Estate Capital, Chris has had various positions within the commercial real estate lending industry over the past 15 years. Throughout his career he has been responsible for originating, structuring and closing commercial real estate fixed and floating rate loans throughout the United States.
Chris was born and raised in the midwest. Chris graduated from The University of Northern Iowa, earning a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Real Estate. Chris is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Chris lives in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife and two children.
